Rich Rodriguez could potentially use 2026 recruit Jordan Vann anywhere on the field. Vann’s athleticism and versatility led Rodriguez and his WVU football staff to offer the Middletown, Ohio product.

Vann (6-foot-1, 205 pounds) announced his WVU offer on Wednesday, mentioning WVU tight ends coach Michael Nysewander as who called him to make it official.

“After a great conversation with Michael Nysewanderย I am blessed to receive an offer from,” said Vann on social media.

Vann is viewed as a wide receiver by some national recruiting outlets, but has experience at both safety and nickel on the defensive side of the ball as well. He also runs track for Middletown High School. He’s ranked as a three-star plater by Rivals.

Vann advertised that he currently has 12 Division I offers, most notably from Power Four schools like Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and now West Virginia. He also holds offers from Akron, Dartmouth, Kent State, Liberty, Marshall and Toledo. He even recently took a trip to check out Michigan State.

The video embedded below shows some highlights from Vann during the 2024 season.
