Vann is viewed as a wide receiver by some national recruiting outlets, but has experience at both safety and nickel on the defensive side of the ball as well. He also runs track for Middletown High School. He’s ranked as a three-star plater by Rivals.
Vann advertised that he currently has 12 Division I offers, most notably from Power Four schools like Duke, Kansas, Kentucky and now West Virginia. He also holds offers from Akron, Dartmouth, Kent State, Liberty, Marshall and Toledo. He even recently took a trip to check out Michigan State.
