WVU Football Lands Commitment From FL Edge for 2027 Class

The WVU football staff landed another edge rusher for their 2027 class in Miami, Fla. native Trevoris Finley. He confirmed his commitment to West Virginia on Tuesday, May 19, picking the Mountaineers despite an extensive offer list.

Finley, listed at 6-foot-3 and 240 pounds, decided to commit to WVU over opportunities from major conference programs like Auburn, Boston College, Indiana, Miami (FL), North Carolina State, Penn State, Pitt, SMU and many others.

The Carol City product recorded 83 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss and 16 sacks during his junior season in the fall of 2025.
