WVU Quarterback Commit Nicco Marchiol Will Visit Morgantown Later This Month

West Virginia’s 2022 recruiting class has inspired a lot of excitement among WVU fans this offseason, and a major reason has been the commitment of 4-star Arizona quarterback Nicco Marchiol.

After de-committing from Florida State in June, WVU head coach Neal Brown made it a priority to recruit the “special” quarterback prospect and when he eventually committed later in June, it set off a wave of commits landing in Morgantown over the next few weeks.

And now, Marchiol will be making his first trip back to Morgantown since his official visit on June 11.

The 293rd-ranked recruit in the cycle, Marchiol will continue to build his relationship with Brown and the WVU coaching, along with his fellow WVU recruits. His July 29 visit will likely be a chance to get better acquainted with the staff, the new state-of-the-art facilities and Morgantown itself.

With 14 commitments from the 2022 class, including fellow 4-stars in cornerback Jacolby Spells and running back Justin Williams, WVU expects to hear back from a few more recruits in the coming days and weeks.
