Marchiol (6-foot-3, 230 pounds) is a four-star left-handed quarterback from Hamilton High School in Chandler, Arizona. 247Sports rates him as the 23rd best QB in the 2022 class and Rivals rates him at 14.
Marchiol committed to WVU on Monday, his birthday, after making an official visit to campus earlier in the month. He was in Morgantown the weekend of June 11 and posted several times on social media that he enjoyed the visit. His latest visit was to Arizona State the weekend after he was in WV.
Speechless after having the privilege to listen to Dr. Gee speak this morning. A true football fan, and more importantly a man dedicated to developing young men. pic.twitter.com/995GHQ9og4
