West Virginia head coach Neal Brown will have one extra piece of motivation to ensure the atmosphere at Milan Puskar Stadium is a positive one this Saturday. A 4-star recruit will be in attendance when the Mountaineers take the field against Oklahoma.

Cam Lindsey, who is a member of the 2024 class out of Aliquippa High School in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, reached out to WVSN to inform us that he will be visiting WVU this weekend. Lindsey is a highly sought after player with a 4-star rating by most recruiting outlets and has already received several offers, including from a few WVU and a few other big name schools. He has was a key contributor Aliquippa’s 2021 state championship team.

Listed as 6-foot-2 and 190 pounds by 247 Sports, Lindsey has himself as 6’2 and 203 pounds in his Twitter bio. 247 also ranks Lindsey as the 23rd best linebacker in the country in his class and 10th best player.

Lindsey taking the trip south to Morgantown isn’t too surprising since he was been making his rounds, both locally and nationally. Lindsey was at Beaver Stadium to attend Penn State’s Blue and White game in April and visited Notre Dame just last week.

In addition to WVU, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Kent State, Massachusetts, Penn State, as mentioned above, and Syracuse have extended offers to Lindsey.
