WVU has offered 2022 wide receiver Barion Brown out of Nashville, Tennessee. Brown (6-foot-1, 160 lbs.) is rated as a four-star prospect by both 247Sports and rivals. 247 rates Brown as the sixth-best recruit in Tennessee in the 2022 class, rivals has him as the fifth-best.

Brown has offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Nebraska, Ole Miss, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas A&M.

Former WVU lineman Josh Sills was apparently tasked with rallying the troops at halftime of Oklahoma State’s victory over Tulsa this past weekend. Colorful language warning.

Brian Davis of Austin American-Statesman is reporting that Texas Longhorns men’s basketball head coach Shaka Smart has said that the Big 12 will play two conference games in Dec.

WVU has made a scholarship offer to 247Sports four-star Indiana high school defensive lineman Joe Strickland. Listed at 6-foot-4 and 245 pounds, Strickland currently has offers from Penn State, Michigan, Indiana, Purdue, Arizona State, Virginia Tech, Michigan State and Stanford among (many) others.
