The success of former Mountaineer basketball players continues as Monday Brandon Watkins signed a 1-year deal with the German team, Dresden Titans.

Watkins has been all over the place the past year, playing for teams in Poland, Cyprus and Germany. Most recently, Watkins was with the Rhoendorf Dragons.

During his career at WVU, Brandon Watkins racked in a total of 296 points, 246 rebounds, 65 blocks, 30 steals and 26 assists.

According to Titans managing director Jörn Müller, Watkins will hardly have any adjustment time.

“Brandon, together with Helge and Karlis, will keep things under the basket. We have committed Brandon for its athleticism, body size and rebound strength. Of course, it also plays a role that Brandon has already met the league and Germany. As a result, he will hardly need any adjustment time.”   –   Jörn Müller
