Can Veteran WR Jaden Bray Finally Make an Impact? | WVU Football All 105
All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2025 WVU Football Roster.
Plagued by injuries throughout his college career, Jaden Bray still believes he can make an impact as a Mountaineer.
In an upbeat mood after a spring practice, the redshirt senior spoke candidlyabout having his season cut short in each of his first two years at WVU and why he feels 2026 will be different.
โI was frustrated about what had happened, but once I realized it was broken, my mindset really went to what can I do to get back and ready for next season,โ said Bray about enduring a season-ending injury at Ohio in 2025, going down in the second game of the season for the second year in a row.

โOf course, it is annoying to go through injuries like that, but keeping the main thing the main thing and working hard to get ready to come back for next season was really my main goal.โ
For Bray, he uses every setback as more motivation in his goal to be even stronger and show he can be a productive player on a contending team again.
5 โข Jaden Bray, redshirt senior wide receiver
Last year: Hurt even sooner than the season prior, Bray endured a season-ending injury in the second game of the season.
Stats: Due to injury, Bray has only been able to bring in nine receptions for 183 yards in two years in West Virginia.
Camp outlook: With the staff believing he’s the healthiest he’s been in years, Bray should provide a veteran presence and stabilizing force, especially in the middle of the field, for a revampedย wide receiver room.
Projected role:ย Expect Bray to be an important part of the receiver room, both on and off the field as a leader. Rodriguez has been open about the fact Bray wouldโve been relied upon as a chain mover and red zone threat last season, making that his clear asset again now that heโs healthy.
Accolades, highlights:ย A three-star recruit high school, Bray is a versatile athlete who also excelled at basketball. In one of his few fully healthy college seasons, Bray was a key member of the 2023 Oklahoma State Cowboys who reached the Big 12 Championship Game.
