Following a career night for Miles “Deuce” McBride, which included 15 points and nine assists, the former WVU guard made it to the front sports page of the New York Post, on Friday morning.

In a 116-103 win over the Houston Rockets, McBride also had three rebounds, four steals and 2-three’s. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native played in 36 minutes, which was another career high for him.

With the New York Post front sports page, McBride also made the New York Daily News front sports page.

What a week for the former Mountaineer. One day, McBride is getting praise from former NBA MVP Derrick Rose, another day, he’s on the front cover of two New York City publications.

In two seasons at West Virginia, McBride appeared in 60 games for the Mountaineers, having a career average of 12.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists. In his sophomore season, McBride was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, as he led WVU to a No. 3 seed in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
