Drake Transfer Conor Enright Planning to Visit West Virginia

Drake transfer guard Conor Enright plans on visiting West Virginia next week, he tells WV Sports Now. Enright completed a visit to DePaul on Friday and does not have an official date set up for his WVU trip.

**Update April 2: Enright plans on visiting West Virginia from April 12-14, he tells WVSN.

Enright has most recently heard from BYU, Loyola Chicago, Oral Roberts and Santa Clara in the transfer portal. Enright first heard from Ball State, Bowling Green, Charleston Southern, Davidson, DePaul, Furman, Penn, Robert Morris, Stanford, West Virginia, Western Michigan, Wofford and others earlier in the week.

Enright (6-foot) averaged 6.9 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.0 steals in 33 starts for the Bulldogs. Enright shot 44% from three this past season and had multiple games with four or more three-pointers.

Enright, a sophomore, has two years of eligibility remaining.

Enright’s coach, Darian DeVries, took the West Virginia job on Sunday night and was introduced officially on Thursday. Drake finished 28-7 this season, winning the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament and reaching the NCAA Tournament.

DeVries announced during his introductory press conference that his son, Tucker, would be joining him at West Virginia, transferring from Drake. Tucker DeVries is the first transfer commitment for the Mountaineers this offseason.
