In the Holler: Top 2027 Ohio Recruit Explains What He Likes About WVU Football Program
Tristin Hughes, a 2027 recruit out of Ohio, revealed what he likes the most about the WVU football program to West Virginia Sports Now.
A product of Rocky River High School, Hughes revealed his latest offer on social media earlier in the week, adding it to his growing list. West Virginia decided to offer Hughes despite his September commitment to Syracuse.
In addition to WVU and Syracuse, Hughes has recent offers from Arizona State, Kentucky and Wisconsin, and that’s just since the start of 2026. Maryland, Michigan State Purdue and several Group of 5 level schools have also offered Hughes.
