West Virginia made their intentions clear to a running back recruit, sending an offer to 2027 prospect Savion Miller on Tuesday. Miller then revealed his WVU football offer on social media.

WVU linebackers coach Andrew Warwick is helping to lead the early recruitment of Miller.

Listed at 5-foot-10 and 195 pounds, Miller is a star at Iowa City High School and represents West Virginia’s effort to expand their recruiting base. Miller is ranked as a three-star and the No. 4 player in Iowa by 247 Sports.

During his most recent 2025 season, Miller ran for 1,068 yards on 127 carries and then caught 16 passes for 338 yards as a receiver. He scored a total of 25 touchdowns.

Miami (FL), Minnesota, Missouri are other Power Four schools interested in Miller. He also has offers from Kent State and Toledo. Miller has visited Iowa State several times, but has yet to be offered by the Cyclones.
