Mountaineers Soar in Rankings

Following another week in which the Mountaineers went 2-0 and after a solid top-10 win at home over Oklahoma, the AP Poll has West Virginia checked in at No. 2 in the country (12 first place votes). This is the first time West Virginia has been ranked in the top 5 since 2010, which if your memory serves you right, was the last year the Mountaineers made a Final Four run. The Mountaineers have a case to be the best team in the country but have two shots this week to further prove their case.

West Virginia’s next game will be Tuesday at 7 pm in the WVU Coliseum versus the Baylor Bears.
