Mountaineers Receive Vote Points for Third-Straight Week
For the third-straight week, West Virginia has received vote points in the Associated Press top 25 poll. On Monday afternoon, the latest poll had the Mountaineers at No. 28, receiving 52 vote points.

West Virginia had just one game during the Christmas week, defeating Youngstown State on Dec. 22, 82-52.
WVU comes in at 11-1 heading into Big 12 Conference play, starting with No. 17 Texas, on New Year’s Day. West Virginia’s most notable wins are UConn (56-53), UAB (65-59), Clemson (66-59) and Oakland (60-53).
