Pat McAfee Reacts to Shane Lyons Out as WVU Director of Athletics

After the report by ESPN and WV MetroNews regarding West Virginia University parting ways with Director of Athletics Shane Lyons, former WVU kicker Pat McAfee reacted to the news.

“I don’t have a relationship with anybody in WVU Athletics currently so take this as you may… but as somebody who has followed along from afar… this feels like a VERY SOLID move for the program. Excited to see if WVU can regain some notoriety nationally.. GREAT place,” McAfee wrote on Twitter Monday morning.

McAfee is the football program’s all-time scoring leader with 384.

McAfee is known for his mouth. I think he does it more for his benefit not so much caring for West Virginia.
