Kayli Kellogg to Follow Father, Commits to WVU Women’s Basketball

Staying in West Virginia to play for her father, Kayli Kellogg officially announced her commitment to the WVU women’s basketball program on Thursday night.

Kellogg posted a “family ties” caption above a series of images with her dad, Mark Kellogg, the WVU women’s head coach, and the rest of her family from her recruitment.

Her mother, Trisha Kellogg, posted a congratulations message of her own on top of Kayli’s commitment.

“No words to describe how truly proud I am of you, Kayli Kellogg! Since you were tiny, you worked for this and it’s here! You have earned every bit of it! Congratulations! This is just the beginning of something so special! Go be GRRREEEAAATTT!!,” she said about her daughter. 

A 5-foot-7 senior at Morgantown High, Kayli’s commitment comes after losing her junior season to a knee injury while playing AAU basketball in the summer of 2025. But before her injury, she averaged 21.9 points per game and led the Mohigans to a 20-4 record and a runner-up finish in the Quad-A state tournament.
