Senior Season Gets 2026 DL on Radar of WVU Football
As West Virginia continues trying to flip recruits committed elsewhere, a 2026 defensive lineman from Pennsylvania announced an offer. Over the weekend, Collin Stare received an offer from the WVU football program.
Listed at 6-foot-2 and 245 pounds, Stare is a three-star prospect out of Mechanicsburg Area High School. West Virginia sent him an offer despite his existing commitment to Central Michigan.

Stare committed to CMU in August over other similar offers, but a monster senior season impressed Rich Rodriguez and his staff.
Now on the radar of WVU and other Power Four schools, Stare recorded 60 total tackles, 25 for a loss and 8.5 sacks during the 2025 season.
