Defensive back Makhi Boone announced his commitment to West Virginia late Sunday night. The 2026 recruit then explained why he wants to join the WVU football program to WV Sports Now.
Listed at 6-foot and 175 pounds, Boone, who initially committed to Miami (OH), earned an offer from West Virginia earlier in the month. His commitment comes after he spent the weekend in Morgantown, experiencing the celebratory Saturday for the WVU program.
