Sights and Sounds: WVU Football Opens Season With White Out Win
MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — It was a scene to remember Saturday afternoon in Morgantown. WVU football celebrated legend Pat White. White held back his tears surround by his family and football family as his number was retired with a sea of fans dressed in white as the backdrop for the moment.
West Virginia then defeated Coastal Carolina 31-24 to kickoff the 2026 season.
