Source: WVU Receives Commitment From 2023 F Ofri Naveh
2023 F Ofri Naveh from Israel has committed to West Virginia, a source confirmed with WV Sports Now. Naveh joins WVU’s roster of 12 players as of Friday, July 28

2005-born 🇮🇱6'7 F Ofri Naveh is committing to West Virginia in the class of 2023, sources told Eurohopes.

Naveh (6-foot-7) is currently playing for Israel in the U18 European Championships, averaging 10.8 points and 6.0 rebounds. Naveh most recently played for Maccabi Playtika Tel Aviv‘s U18 team this past March.
During his recruitment, Naveh has heard from Butler, Marquette, Overtime Elite, Wake Forest and others. West Virginia contacted Naveh two weekends ago and completing a Zoom call with him, a source told WV Sports Now.Â
Naveh has a unique play style as the Israeli native plays like a guard but is the size of a forward. Naveh can score at all three levels on the floor.
Naveh turned 18 in April so he will not be eligible for the NBA draft until 2027.
Naveh joins RaeQuan Battle (G), Jeremiah Bembry(G), Jesse Edwards (C), Josiah Harris (F), Kobe Johnson (G), Kerr Kriisa (G), Jose Perez (G), Omar Silverio(G), Quinn Slazinski (F), Patrick Suemnick (F) and Seth Wilson (G). WVU is looking everywhere to fill out the final spot of the roster.
