West Virginia assistant Tom Ostrom was at SoCal Academy on Tuesday, visiting 2025 target Kelvin Odih, the four-star guard told WV Sports Now. Odih recently visited WVU and has the Mountaineers in his top six schools.
Odih will take a visit to Creighton this upcoming weekend while visiting Colorado and Rutgers in the coming weeks.

“I’m just looking forward to being there. Getting that feel, that experience,” Odih said.
Odih doesn’t have a timeline for his commitment but does mention that “it’ll be soon.”
Odih enjoyed his visit to WVU on the weekend of Aug. 31 and received advice from current New York Knicks guard Deuce McBride.
“Deuce was telling me about his experience at West Virginia and that if I were to come here, I would meet people who would become life-long friends,” Odih went into further detail. “That people take care of people that come here. It’s a big family state. They all take care of each other.”

Ostrom also visited 2025 three-star forward Ian Inman at The Woodlands College Park High School in Texas on Monday. Inman will visit West Virginia on Sept. 21 and has WVU in his final list.
West Virginia extended an offer to Inman on July 26, following a conversation with WVU HC Darian DeVries. During his sophomore season (2022-23), Inman averaged 8.6 points, 3.6 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game.
WV Sports Now will provide updates on Odih’s recruitment as well as other WVU basketball recruiting news.
