Bagent threw only two passes all of 2024 following being cast into four starts during an improbable rookie season. In 2023, Bagent went 2-2 as the Bears’ starter. He thew for 859 yards with three touchdowns and six picks while also running for 109 yards and two more scores.
Even though Bagent didnโt garner much attention after wrapping up his college career a Shepherd University, his college statistics were too much to ignore for the NFL to not give him a chance.

In Division II, he threw for 4,580 yards in 2022 and exactly 5,000 yards passing in 2021. Bagent also completed 70% of his passes and tossed 41 touchdowns this past season, totaling 91 the last two years combined.
