Tyson Bagent will continue his NFL career in Chicago with the Bears after agreeing to a new deal on Wednesday.

The Bears signed the Martinsburg, W.Va. native to a two-year, $10 million extension with $16 million as the max for the deal.

Bagent threw only two passes all of 2024 following being cast into four starts during an improbable rookie season. In 2023, Bagent went 2-2 as the Bears’ starter. He thew for 859 yards with three touchdowns and six picks while also running for 109 yards and two more scores.

Even though Bagent didnโ€™t garner much attention after wrapping up his college career a Shepherd University, his college statistics were too much to ignore for the NFL to not give him a chance.
