Accolades for a strong performance in the Bahamas continue to roll in for WVU basketball as seniors Tucker DeVries and Javon Small were both named to the Battle 4 Atlantis all-tournament team on Saturday.

DeVries and Small both had star performances as the Mountaineers picked up a pair of impressive ranked wins this week over No. 3 Gonzaga and No. 24 Arizona. WVU also took tournament runner-up Louisville down to the wire as the Mountaineers went into overtime in all three tournament games.

Small carried the load for the Mountaineers, playing 43 minutes in all three overtime games in the Bahamas. He averaged 23.7 points per game with 17 rebounds, 17 assists and six steals. He scored 31 points in the team’s upset win over Gonzaga on Wednesday.

DeVries averaged 16.7 points per game with 12 total three-pointers in the tournament. He also had 13 rebounds, 11 assists and seven blocks. The senior had a steal and the game-tying free throws in the win over Gonzaga and scored a team-high 26 points in the win over Arizona.

WVU basketball has the week off before returning home to host Georgetown in the WVU Coliseum on Friday.
