WVU Football 2027 OL Recruit Stafford Willis Raves About Junior Day Visit
An offensive line recruit raves about his experience at the WVU football Junior Day over the weekend.
After returning home to Alabama, 2027 prospect Stafford Willis offered his thoughts about his time in West Virginia on social media.
“Incredible weekend at the WVU football 2027 Elite Day was top notch – great conversations with the coaches, learned a lot about the programโs vision, and canโt wait to be back this spring. Thank you,” said Willis on X (formerly Twitter).ย
A 6-foot-5 and 280-pound offensive tackle out of Arab High School, Willis is a team captain for his high school team.
Willis has been a focus of the West Virginia staff in recent week, which included paying him a visit in late January.
“It was a great visit- learned a lot more about the WVU program, very impressive facilities and looking forward to going back in the spring! From their weight room and trainers to the locker room and the academic staff, everything was top notch,” said Willis about what the WVU program has to offer.
Prior to his time with WVU’s Derek Dressler, Arkansas sent someone to check in with Willis. In addition to those Power Four schools, Willis has offers from Liberty, Tulane and Cornell.
