WVU Football Among Contenders for 2025 3-Star Florida DL
As recruits continue to make decisions, a top defensive line target of the WVU football staff narrowed down his list of schools.
Hudson released his most up to date list over the weekend, including WVU among a group of 10 programs. The 2025 prospect showed the Mountaineers on a graphic that also displayed Howard, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Jackson State, Louisville, Maryland, Tulane and UCF.

Listed at 6-foot, 260 pounds, Hudson attends Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Fla. Hudson carries a three-star rating from 247 Sports, being ranked as their No. 44 player in Florida and No. 37 defensive lineman nationally.
WVU defensive line coach Andrew Jackson has been the lead recruiter going after Hudson. Jackson recently traveled to watch Hudson at the end of May.

Hudson preceded 70 tackles, 27 tackles for a loss and nine sacks during his junior season in 2023.
In addition to his current list, Hudson also received offers from Maryland, Liberty, Marshall, Penn State, Pitt, Temple, Western Kentucky and several others. Hudson was experiencing an official visit at Iowa State when he released his new list of contending schools.
WVU sent Hudson an offer on Jan. 24 of this year.
