UCF Signs DayDay Farmer A Year After Flip to West Virginia
A year after West Virginia flipped DayDay Farmer away from UCF, the Knights steal him right back. The former WVU wide receiver has signed with UCF just a few days after entering the transfer portal.
Farmer played sparingly in his first season of college football in 2024. He made six receptions for 54 yards. Farmer caught two balls for nine yards in WVUโs 42-37 Frisco Bowl loss to Memphis on Tuesday night.

Farmer came to WVU with much hype as a key member of Neal Brownโs final recruiting class.
Back in August, WVU wide receivers coach Bilal Marshall called Framer โvery electricโand said he knew right away the Melbourne, Fla. native has a natural talent. Marshall even went as far as to characterize Farmer as more talented than 99% of the players who come to WVU.
Marshallโs comments come only a few days after ย Brown classified Framer as โeliteโwhen the ball is in the air.
But thatโs not all Brown had to say about the Florida native who he flipped on National Signing Day in December of 2023.
โHeโs got twitch, and heโs got explosiveness. Heโs made several competitive plays, he was good yesterday in our 11 on 11 work. Excited about him. Heโs going to earn some playing time if he continues,โ elaborated Brown.
West Virginia flipped Farmer from UCF on Early National Signing Day last year. He was previously committed to Pitt before changing to Pitt in the summer of 2024.
