As things stand, the Mountaineers and Horned Frogs are both 2-1 on the season. TCU just beat Houston 36-13 while West Virginia won the Backyard Brawl 17-6 over Pitt.
Last season, TCU defeated WVU 41-31 en route to an undefeated regular season and an appearance in the College Football Playoff. TCU would lose to Georgia in the National Championship Game. This is in grave contrast to West Virginia finishing 5-7 and missing out on a bowl game all together.

I hope the stand by their comment for a full game. Last weeks hhe lasted 15 minutes on a major network and then switched to a local game.
