WVU Football Claims Commitment From 2027 WR Chase Guers

Despite some late interest by a couple similar programs, 2027 wide receiver prospect Chase Guers announced his commitment to the WVU football program.

Guers made his commitment official with a post on Thursday, June 25. “Country roads take me home…,” posted Guers on X (formerly Twitter).

Guers, listed at 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, appeared in 12 games last season for Blue Mountain High School in Schuylkill Haven, Pa. He kept in constant communication with WVU wide receivers coach Ryan Garrett, even after recent trips to visit Cincinnati and Syracuse.

Ranked as a three-star, Guers also received offers from Syracuse, Cincinnati, Illinois, Pitt, Temple, Buffalo, Coastal Carolina, Colorado State, James Madison, Liberty, Miami (OH), UConn and Lehigh.
