Despite securing most of its offensive line from 2023 for 2024, WVU is still on the hunt for more offensive line depth. To that end, West Virginia sent an offer to a transfer out of a major program Friday night.

The Mountaineers offered Florida State transfer Daughtry Richardson. He announced he’s transferring on Dec. 5th, but has really picked up steam with offers recently.

The 6-foot-5, 316-pounder appeared in one game for ACC champion Seminoles during the 2023 season. That’s after he played in two games in 2022.

Daughtry now hopes to see more playing time at his next school. That’s certainly not something that would be guaranteed at WVU with a starting group worth of returners locked in, but West Virginia did need to go into its depth chart this past season due to injuries.

You can find Richardson and other transfer players listed on our partner the Portal Report’s database.
