WVU Football WR Rodney Gallagher III Enters Transfer Portal

Junior wide receiver Rodney Gallagher III is leaving WVU after three seasons, as he will enter the transfer portal, per Hayes Fawcett of On3.

Gallagher appeared in 38 games over his Mountaineer tenure. He caught 28 passes for 283 yards this season and rushed 14 times for 83 yards, but did not find the end zone this season.

On his career, Gallagher has 64 catches for 605 yards and three touchdowns while carrying the ball 45 times for 221 yards.

The pinnacle of Gallagher’s career came in the 2024 season when he scored the game-winning touchdown against Kansas, his first career score.
