WVU Basketball Falls Off Joe Lunardi’s Bubble in Latest Bracketology

WVU basketball has officially fallen off the bubble in  Joe Lunardi’s latest Bracketology as of Wednesday after a 91-84 overtime loss to Oklahoma State.

After spending considerable time in the “next four out,” the Mountaineers have dropped out in favor of Cincinnati.

WVU is currently on a three-game losing skid with losses to Utah at home and TCU on the road before falling in overtime to OSU.

West Virginia has a resume of a 70-54 win over Mount Saint Mary’s, a 73-65 win over Campbell, a 69-47 victory over Lehigh, a 71-49 domination of Pitt in the Backyard Brawl,81-59 blowout win over Lafayette, a 70-38  routing of Mercyhurst, a 91-49 blowout win over Coppin State, a 90-58 win over Little Rock, an 86-51 win over MVSU,  two wins over Cincinnati,86-75 upset over Kansas, a convincing 72-61 win over Colorado, 75-63 road win at Arizona State, a gritty 59-54 win over Kansas State and a 74-63 comeback win over UCF.

WVU basketball will take the court again at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday when the team hosts No. 19 BYU.

    They are done. Run out of gas after trying to come from behind again and again and again…

    Need more physicality in the paint and scoring… slow starts kill…

    Start DJ over Harlan, and use Chance Moore more .. No to post season, and focus on the portal and recruiting… This season is over, and they have probably won their last game…
