WVU Football Sends an Offer to 2027 Edge Garnering Big Interest

Continuing their recruiting efforts in Alabama, the WVU football staff extended a 2027 linebacker his 18th Division I offer.

Isaac McNeil, listed at 6-foot-2 and 210 pounds, revealed his West Virginia offer on Feb. 13. WVU’s offer followed USC and proceeded LSU as his three majors offers of February. He also received several offers from big brands in January.

As far as Power Four schools, the Mobile, Ala. native has offers from Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Miami (FL), Michigan, Mississippi State, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Virginia and now West Virginia and LSU.

McNeil even visited Florida in late January.

Ina addition to all of those recognizable names, McNeil has additional offers from Appalachian State, Charlotte, Georgia State, South Alabama, South Florida, Troy and several others.

McNeil is being recruited as an outside linebacker and edge rusher.
