2025 Kicker Pledges Commitment to WVU Football Program
The WVU football program added a kicker to its 2025 class. York, Pa. native Matthew Parker announced his commitment to the Mountaineers on Friday night.
Parker’s post on X (Twitter) with the news offered a simple “Let’s go” to go along with a graphic.

Parker was in Morgantown for a visit and earlier in the week.
As a junior at Central York High School in 2023, Parker made 11 of his 14 field goal attempts with his longest being for 51 yards. He also made 45-of-48 extra-point attempts and punted.
Parker attends the high school alma mater of current WVU star running back Jahiem White.
While Parker isn’t ranked by any major recruiting outlet, he did have other offers in addition to West Virginia, most notably Penn State.
Parker now becomes the fifth member of WVU’s 2025 recruiting class.
