3 Former Mountaineers Going to NFL Combine

Published

West Virginia’s Ka’Raun White, Kyzir White, and Justin Crawford have all received invitations to this year’s NFL combine event in Indianapolis held February 27 – March 5.

Kyzir is regarded as the most NFL-ready prospect after tallying 94 tackles and 3 interceptions in 2017. The 6-2, 216-lb safety has a body built for the pros and is widely considered a 2nd or 3rd round selection in this year’s draft.

Kyzir’s brother, Ka’Raun, will potentially make the third White brother taken in the NFL draft. Ka’Raun finished the 2017 season with a second-straight 1,000-yard season and 12 touchdowns. He is expected to be taken in the later rounds (5th-6th).

Finally, running back Justin Crawford will join the White brothers at the combine after leaving the West Virginia program prior to its bowl game against Utah in December. Crawford also finished with back-to-back 1,000-yard seasons after rushing for 1,061 yards and 7 scores in 2017. Crawford is considered a late round take or a UFA (undrafted free agent).
