Recruiting season is here and in full swing. The Mountaineers have started to make a big push for 2019 wide receiver Ali Jennings out of Highland Springs, VA. Jennings checks in at 6’2″, 190 pounds and plays even bigger than his size indicates.

Jennings currently holds offers from Clemson, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Michigan St, North Carolina and many others including West Virginia.

Jennings noted that he has started to receive more love from the Mountaineer coaching staff as of late

“Coach Carrier calls me more now. The entire staff just sent me mail so that was nice of them to write all of those letters. I took a quick visit there two weeks ago, but I’ll be back for a more intimate visit after I return from my trip to Mexico.”

Jennings is playing for the U.S. national team which is why he is out of the country.

When I asked Jennings what his thoughts were on the Mountaineer offense and how he would fit he responded, “I plan on catching 100 balls for a lot of touchdowns. No, seriously, it’s a good spread offense in a wide receiver-friendly conference.

Jennings informed me that his return trip to Morgantown is yet to be determined, but will work on getting it locked down sometime in July or August.
