2023 4-Star CB Josiah Jackson Officially Signs with West Virginia

Published

on

Four-star defensive back Josiah Jackson (5-foot-11, 175-pounds) has signed his national letter of intent with West Virginia. He’s listed as a four-star recruit on On3, but the other three major outlets – 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals – rate him as a three-star recruit.

It should come as no surprise given his higher rating that On3 ranks him the highest out of the four outlets. They have him as the No. 20 ranked defensive back nationally and No. 5 ranked player in the state of Ohio.

Those numbers are much higher than the other three, which rank him between 70 (247Sports) and 91 (ESPN) nationally at his position and between No. 23 (247Sports and ESPN) and No. 26 (Rivals) in the state of Ohio.

Jackson originally committed to the school back in March. He’ll be attending West Virginia alongside his twin brother Jordan Jackson who committed in July. The twins come from Fairfield, Ohio.
