Dante Stills Impressive in Drills, Clocks Official 4.85 in 40 Time at NFL Combine
INDIANAPOLIS – Every step of the draft process seems to make Dante Stills more and more attractive to NFL scouts. And Stills was able to show off his true potential and athleticism at the NFL Combine.
The West Virginia product clocked an official 4.85 time in the 40-yard dash. His time was the third best out of interior defensive lineman on the day behind only Calijah Kancey of Pitt, who set a new bar for defensive lineman, and Oklahoma’s Jalen Redmond.

While the 40-yard dash is what many immediately look to when evaluating the athletic ability of a player and it’s often the prominent drill at the combine, Stills put up solid numbers across the board.
He also recoded a 9’5″ broad jump and a 28.5 vertical jump.

But o course, Stills knows it’s not just about how fast he can run or even how great he looks on film when it comes to getting drafted, NFL teams are interested in learning everything imaginable about a player.
