WVU Football OL recruit Da'Ron Parks

In a very interesting development, West Virginia’s top 2026 prospect decided to withdraw his commitment from Florida State. Four-star offensive lineman Da’Ron Parks re-opened his recruitment, making him once again available for WVU.

Up until Monday night, Parks was headed to Florida State after committing on July 26. However, Hayes Fawcett of Rivals broke the news that Parks has changed his mind.

A product of Nitro High School, Parks is listed at about 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds.

While Parks is now back on the market, there’s no guarantee he’s going to say home and play for the Mountaineers. Parks, who was re-offered by WVU in January soon after Rodriguez took over, has offers on the table from most major brands.

Ranked as the No. 1 player in West Virginia and a four-star by 247 Sports, Parks’ offers include Alabama, Auburn, Arizona, Cincinnati, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Louisville, Miami (FL), Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Carolina, State, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Pitt, Purdue, SMU, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCF, Virginia Tech and many others.
