McBride has had a roller coaster of a rookie season so far with the New York Knicks. The Cincinnati, Ohio, native has been called up and back down for assignment constantly over the last few months. The Knicks have a lot of guard depth, but recently shut down starting guard Kemba Walker, so maybe McBride will be able to find a spot in the rotation.
McBride has played in 21 games in the NBA for the New York Knicks, appearing in the starting lineup two times.
McBride played at West Virginia from 2019-21, appearing in 60 games for the Mountaineers. McBride averaged 12.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists. In his sophomore season, McBride was named to the All-Big 12 Second Team, as he led WVU to a No. 3 seed in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
