Former WVU DL Eddie Kelly Jr. Enters Transfer Portal

Former WVU defensive lineman Eddie Kelly Jr. is taking his fight to return to college football to the transfer portal, entering as of Tuesday, per ESPN’s Pete Thamel.

Kelly, who transferred to West Virginia ahead of the 2025 season, made 26 tackles, recorded three pass deflections and half of a sack. Before becoming a Mountaineer, he spent 2024 with Missouri as part of a 10-3 Tigers team.

He was at Georgia Tech in 2023 and USF in 2022.
