Grier named a finalist for the Maxwell Award

Today the finalists were announced for the 2018 football season’s individual awards and West Virginia quarterback Will Grier has been named a finalist for the Maxwell Award. The Maxwell Award goes to the best player in college football and is usually also the Heisman winner.

Other finalists include Alabama QB Tua Tagovailoa and Oklahoma QB Kyler Murray.

Will Grier has completed 234 of 348 passes (67.2%) for 3,325 yards and 33 touchdowns to only 8 interceptions.

The awards shows will begin at 7pm on December 6th and will be televised on ESPN.
