All 105 is a West Virginia Sports Now series profiling each member of the 2026 WVU Football Roster.

Although Carter Zuliani earned First-Team All-State honors on the defensive line during his time in high school, WVU’s coaching staff moved the 6-foot-6, 261 pounder to tight end for his college career as a Mountaineer.

A native of Bridgeport, W.Va., Zuliani also played basketball in high school, and helped his team win state championships on both the gridiron and the hardwood last season.

Although head coach Rich Rodriguez didn’t incorporate tight ends into the passing game much during his first stint with the Mountaineers, he says he’s open to the idea this season. A tall, athletic target like Zuliani could help change Rodriguez’s mind for good.
