Bridgeport Product Carter Zuliani Staying in West Virginia, Signs with WVU

Carter Zuliani is staying home and taking his talents to WVU. The Bridgeport High School product made his dreams a reality by signing his national letter of intent with West Virginia on Wednesday’s National Signing Day. Zuliani announced his commitment on Jan. 26.
Listed at 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds, Zuliani, a true athlete who plays basketball, track and swims in high school in addition to football, is viewed as a tight end by WVU.

He made two receptions for 47 yards during his 2024 high school season while also blocking a punt and even making as many as four tackles per game on defense.
Blaine Stewart, who will now serve as West Virginiaโs inside receivers coach after preciously being the tight ends coach under Neal Brown, reached out to Zuliani with an offer.
Zuliani picked WVU over four Division I offers, including one from Youngstown State. He was also in communication with Marshall before committing to WVU.
WV Sports Now caught up with Zuliani soon after he revealed his WVU offer. Zuliani then shared who he talked to on the staff, detailed some of what was said and even explained why his family is more familiar with the WVU program than most fans.
