West Virginia vs. Baylor at McLane Stadium

WVU is capping off the 2023 season the same they started it – at night. In this year’s West Virginia vs. Baylor matchup, the 7-4 (5-3) Mountaineers will meet the struggling 3-8 (2-6) Baylor Bears in Waco, Texas on Saturday night.

Oddsmakers are confident WVU will win comfortably in their final game of the season against Baylor and reach eight wins, but the Mountaineers know oddsmakers and “experts” can be wrong as well as anyone. The Bears only have pride to play for. It’s also been reported that they will likely be without their starting quarterback.

If history is any indication, this game could be a close one under the lights of McLane Stadium.

WVU beat Baylor in Morgantown 43-40 last season thanks to a game winning field goal by former Mountaineer kicker Casey Legg.

Kickoff for West Virginia vs. Baylor is set for 7 pm ET and the game will be televised nationally on FS1.
