Latest Bowl Projection for WVU Football

CBS Sports Bowl Expert Jerry Palm projected the match-ups for all 70 bowl eligible teams yesterday, including where he thinks head coach Neal Brown’s WVU Football team deserves to be.

As of right now, Palm has the 6-6 Mountaineers flying to Phoenix, Az. on Dec. 28 to play the Big Ten Conference’s 8-4 Purdue Boilermarkers. This is the only Big 12 vs. Big Ten bowl match-up predicted thus far. If this game came to fruition, it would mark the first time that these two teams have met since a non-conference game in 1996, before a single player on West Virginia’s roster was born.
