Maryland to WVU Pipeline Continues as OL Eidan Buchanan Signs
West Virginia continues to make their mark in Maryland, with the signing of offensive lineman Eidan Buchanan becoming official here on National Signing Day. Buchanan resides in Gaithersburg, MD and plays for Good Counsel High School in Olney, MD.
Buchanan is one of three offensive linemen to come to Morgantown in the last three years, alongside current teammate Gavin Crawford, and current member of the WVU team, Kyle Altuner.

Buchanan will add major size to the WVU offensive line, standing at 6-foot-8, 310 pounds. Buchanan is a consensus three-star recruit across recruiting boards. Both On3 and 24/7 have graded Buchanan at an 86. 24/7 sports has ranked him as the 40th overall prospect in the Maryland 2025 class.
WVU gained Buchananโs commitment in April of this year. Michigan has made a late push on the projectable offensive linemen, offering him on November 12th this year.
Buchanan held 17 offers, including ones from Wisconsin, Syracuse, Miami, Kentucky, Michigan, and Pittsburgh.
