Mountaineers in the Pros
Watch: Beanie Bishop Picks Off Joe Burrow to Swing Momentum
Just when they needed some momentum, Beanie Bishop was there for the Steelers.
Bishop picked off Joe Burrow to hand Pittsburgh the ball with about a minute left in the first half. The pick was Bishop’s first since Week 8 and fourth of the season, matching his total during his final college season in 2023 at WVU.
The Steelers were trailing the Bengals 10-7 at the time of Bishop’s big play.
He even gained an autograph football for a couple of his picks from future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Bishop recorded 67 tackles to go along with his four interceptions as a Mountaineer. The Steelers then signed Bishop as an undrafted free agent.
He entered Saturday night with 39 total tackles in his rookie season with the Steelers.
