Mountaineers PWO Recruit Jahmil Perryman Makes Visit to WVU
Mountaineers head coach Neal Brown remains on the hunt in an attempt to bolster his 2023 recruiting class.
McKeesport High School senior Jahmil Perryman made a visit to campus this weekend, documenting his time in the Mountaineers’ football facility via his Twitter account.

Perryman was given a preferred walk-on offer from West Virginia back on Nov. 30. He also attended the Mountaineers’ home matchup against Kansas State on Nov. 19.
According to Perryman’s Twitter, he currently holds six Division I offers, along with others from multiple Division II and III schools. Alongside West Virginia, Perryman has been in contact with Army West Point, Sacred Heart, Austin Peay, Air Force and Navy in the Division I ranks.

Perryman stands at 5-foot-9, 170-pounds, playing as an athlete, running back and safety. He is listed with zero stars as a recruit according to 247Sports. Perryman also spent time at quarterback this season for McKeesport.
He compiled 553 yards passing and six touchdowns on 37 completions as a quarterback, all while totaling 191 carries for 1,441 yards and 22 touchdowns for the Tigers, who finished 11-2 in 2022.
