On Saturday morning, the College GameDay crew did their week three picks in Colorado with special guest picker Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson. The former Miami football player, WWE and movie star picked West Virginia over Pitt in the Backyard Brawl.

Former WVU kicker Pat McAfee and Lee Corso also picked the Mountaineers to win while Desmond Howard and Kirk Herbstreit picked the Panthers.

“This is a very emotional pick for me right now [because] out of high school, both schools recruited me and offered me scholarships. I took my official visits, one to Pitt, one to West Virginia. West Virginia was amazing. Morgantown— but Pitt… gentlemen the cameras are rolling so I can’t tell you what I think,” Johnson said. “Here’s the thing, out of respect for my boy, my brother Pat McAfee, alumni of West Virginia. That campus hasn’t been the same since he left. I’m taking West Virginia.”

West Virginia and Pitt will meet in Morgantown, W.Va. on Saturday night for the 106th time in series history. Pitt leads the series with an all-time record of 62-40-3 against West Virginia with the two last playing in Morgantown back in 2011. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. on ABC.
