Hamilton committed to West Virginia in February after spending time on campus for Junior Day. After being initially offered by Neal Brownโs staff, Hamilton was re-offered by West Virginia tight ends coach Michael Nysewander in January.
Nysewander then visited Hamilton at his home on Jan. 21 to schedule his full weekend trip to Morgantown.
The 6-foot-4, 230-pound Archbishop Moeller product out of Cincinnati also held offers from Power Four programs like Duke, Houston, Kentucky and Washington among others before locking in with WVU. In 2024, he caught 22 passes for 272 yards and scored five touchdowns while also earning All-Conference honors.
Regarded as a complete player with an elite blocking ability, Hamilton is rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 44 tight end in his class by 247 Sports.
